Our Roots
Our Journey Through Caribbean Engineering
How CERS Started
CERS was founded in 2013 by Mr. Boyd Embleton in Grenada. Before starting the company, Mr. Embleton spent many years working in industrial refrigeration and mechanical engineering across the Caribbean. .
Filling The Gap
With more than 30 years of experience, he saw that many businesses needed proper system design, quality installation and dependable servicing. CERS was created to fill that gap and provide professional engineering support that companies in the region could trust.
Growing Across the Caribbean
From its base in Grenada, CERS began taking on projects in other islands in the Eastern Caribbean. Over time, the company worked with factories, cold storage facilities, industrial plants and commercial sites that relied on safe and efficient refrigeration and air systems.
Brand Representation
As the company grew, CERS became a regional representative for two respected global brands:
• Vilter by Copeland – industrial refrigeration equipment for large scale and industrial applications
Atlas Copco – air compressor equipment used across many types of industry
By representing these brands, CERS not only installs and services the equipment, but also provides correct technical guidance and after-sales support that matches manufacturer standards.
Experience in the Field
CERS remains committed to: Supporting Caribbean industries with dependable engineering services Strengthening its role as a trusted partner for Vilter by Copeland and Atlas Copco Training and guiding the next generation of regional technicians and engineers The goal is simple: help businesses across the Caribbean operate safely, efficiently and with confidence in the systems they rely on every day.n
